The 2010 Southwest Christian Conference is the largest gathering of disciples in our fellowship across the USA! Our last SWCC was a fantastic time for everyone in Phoenix Arizona. Now with over 6000 disciples of Jesus gathering in beautiful San Diego California the fellowship will be even more amazing and life changing! This years conference draws its theme from the book of Isaiah and is titled from the great charge “Proclaim… the Lordʼs favor” in Isaiah 61. This year’s conference will be a time of spiritual renewal and great inspiration as we look to the Lord and even greater things ahead. Join us as we gather from across the great Southwest and Hawaii, as one people before the Lord to strengthen and inspire each other.

Steve May Returns To Be With The Lord

Our dear brother Steve May passed away from pancreatic cancer on July 6, 2010. Kelly, Steve’s wife of nearly 20 years, was by his side when he peacefully went to be with our Lord.
Steve was a faithful disciple for 26 years, a loving father of children Jake (17), Jessica (14) and Jazmine (8). Jake is a faithful disciple and Steve was able to help baptize Jessica just three weeks ago. Steve was one of a kind. He was an evangelist who served in the full time ministry in San Diego, Phoenix, and Los Angeles (Inland Empire). He was in training to be appointed elder prior to his passing.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate his life on Saturday July 17, 2010 at 10:00am in Rancho Mirage, California. The service will be held at the Westin Mission Hills Resort located at 71333 Dinah Shore Drive, Rancho Mirage CA. There will be a reception following the service beginning at 1:00pm. Directions to the reception will be provided at the memorial service. Please come and join us as we remember his life and celebrate his memory.

The theme is Science and Christianity. The featured speaker is John Clayton. He will be speaking Friday night on "Why I Left Atheism." We will have a public forum "Four Christian Views of Evolution," featuring Dr. John Oakes, John Clayton, Dr. Denis Lamoureux and Dr. Kevin Anderson. Class on World Religions to be offered

There will be a four week class titled "Daniel, Prophet to the Nations" taught by John Oakes, PhD each Saturday from 9:00-10:30 starting March 20th. It will be held at the Mission Center of Hope 6162 Mission Gorge Road Suite A, San Diego, California.
